It's Monday...

It's Monday and I so need a cup of coffee.  My household is full of testosterone right now with the pending release of Gears of War 3, yup, my kids are begging for an all nighter with dad, of course, but a school day....don't think so.

I have to admit, I like the story-line of this one and can't wait for it to come to the big screen. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, watch the video.

Testosterone...what can I say?

  3. You have to love the soft, pretty music they play in the background while things are exploding everywhere. Very artistic testosterone.

  5. The song is by Mazzy Star, one of my favorites. I listened to the album that song came from almost every day when I was in high school. I love the Gears trailer with autotune singing - have you seen that? So funny.

I might like Gears since I play shooter games, but I prefer my game violence to be less realistic, if that makes sense. Call of Duty is an amazing game, but it's too real for me. The Halo franchise is in space with alien bad guys - I can handle that. So, I'm always on the fence w/ games like this because they are so intense and not as fun as something a little less serious.

  6. My husband is excited about it too. I can only imagine what it's going to be like when my son gets older. He loves to watch his daddy play already!

  7. Testosterone is responsible for a lot that's wrong in the world. :)

  8. Man, I love me some testosterone. And some great violent videogames. I still need to play the entire game of GoW 1 and 2. But games that have a co-op option are games I'd rather play with a friend. I just don't have friends with that kinda time.

    Good luck with the coffee!

  14. With three girls and a hubs whose video game obsession only adheres to sports (soccer to be exact. He's french)- I guess you could say our household lacks a bit of testosterone. Again, girls come with their own set of obsessions:)

  17. Ha. Girls can be badass too. Not sure if you'd call it testosterone. ☺
