Keeping Faith

"When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must--at that moment--become the center of the universe." Elie Wiesel, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, 1986.

There comes a moment when we question faith, when we walk in the shadow of hopelessness, when we live within the context of our own lives with little regard of those that have come before us, and those that live around us. Then you experience something that transcends the simplicity of life. Of your life. Of my life.

Words will never be forgotten. It is what inspires me to write.
